The Iceland Symphony Orchestra invites applications for a temporary full-time position as Principal Bassoon. The appointment runs from 19 October 2026 until mid-December 2027. The successful candidate will work under Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Designate Barbara Hannigan. Selection is based on CV and two unedited video recordings of solo repertoire and orchestral excerpts. Only EU/EEA citizens or those with existing authorization to work in Iceland will be considered.
