NWS invites musicians to apply for placement on its Substitute List. Positions are for most instruments on a rolling basis. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Selection requires a video submission (2–3 minutes of a solo work and four contrasting orchestral excerpts). When engaged, NWS provides airfare, housing, and a stipend.
