The Stavanger Symphony Orchestra (SSO) has become one of Scandinavia’s most successful orchestras. The orchestra has experienced significant artistic development in recent years. The Orchestra is a democratic organization where the musicians have a unique opportunity to influence both artistic development and working conditions. The Orchestra has 85 musicians from 23 countries and a staff group with 16 employees.
