NWS invites musicians to apply for placement on its Substitute List for most instruments. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US. Requires a video submission of 2–3 minutes of a solo work and four contrasting orchestral excerpts. If selected, the status remains active for 12 months. When engaged, NWS provides airfare, housing, and a stipend.
