OPERA PHILADELPHIA Corrado Rovaris, Music Director Announces auditions for the following openings: ASSISTANT CONCERTMASTER and PRINCIPAL SECOND VIOLIN (2 positions). All rounds will be held on April 23, 2026. ***One-year contracts may be offered to the runners-up with the possibility of a tenure track position. Per-service rates & service guarantee for the 2026 – 2027 season: · $237.16 per rehearsal & $343.88 per performance plus 26% principal bonus on all services. · 32 guaranteed services (restrictions as per the CBA apply) Opera Philadelphia’s season runs from September – May. Candidates must have a green card or valid work visa in order to be employed by Opera Philadelphia. No deposit is required to audition. Application deadline is April 13, 2026.
