1st Concertmaster Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, Sweden Chief conductor Maxime Pascal Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra in Southern Sweden is looking for a new colleague as 1st concertmaster. The advertised position is vacant from the 2026-2027 season. Personal invitation: Auditions take place only after personal invitation. Candidates may be invited to all rounds or to selected rounds at the employer's choice: Candidates who can document significant professional orchestral experience in their application and CV may be invited to rounds 1-4. Candidates who can demonstrate an exceptional level of professional orchestral experience in positions equivalent to a concertmaster position may be invited to go directly to round 5. Audition dates: In Helsingborg Concert Hall Rounds 1-4 will be held for invited candidates within the following periods: May 11th 2026 June 1st-2nd 2026 June 9th-12th 2026 Round 5 will be held by individual agreement Round 5 will consist of trial weeks as concertmaster with the orchestra, including solo excerpts.
